Location: University of Utah Center for Patient Simulation, Room 135 Date: Thursday, February 12 Duration: 8 hours (9:30 AM to 5:30 PM) Join us for a full day of immersive, hands-on training in a high-fidelity simulation environment designed to strengthen clinical decision-making and crisis management skills. This comprehensive course enables ABA diplomates to fulfill the Practice Performance Assessment and Improvement (PPAI) requirement for MOCA while earning AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits and renewing their ACLS certification. *Transportation from Westgate Park City Resort & Spa to the Center for Patient Simulation will be provided.

In this 90-minute workshop, participants work through practice using pEEG to inform clinical decision making when managing hemodynamic instability, anesthetic titration in frail patients, the administration of TIVA with neuromuscular blockade, and review pitfalls of pEEG monitoring.

In this 2 hour workshop, participants will identify relevant sonoanatomy of basic and advanced peripheral nerve blocks of the upper limb, lower limb, and trunk. Participants will break into small groups and practice hands-on ultrasound scanning on live models. The goal is to master the basic principles of ultrasound imaging and scanning techniques while learning all of the peripheral nerve blocks relevant to your practice.

In this 90-minute workshop, participants work through a set of difficult airway scenarios, have an opportunity to use a variety of airway management tools, and work through important decisions when managing a difficult airway.

Enhance your transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) skills in this immersive 90-minute hands-on workshop. Participants will receive guided instruction from experienced faculty and gain practical experience in image acquisition, interpretation, and clinical application.
